     William Lawhorn, son of Sherwood Lawhorn and Dicea Mayo, was born 13 November 1801 in Fluvanna County, Virginia.1 William Lawhorn was the son of Sherwood Lawhorn and Dicea Mayo. On the census of 1810 in Fluvanna County, Virginia, William was probably a male under 10 years of age residing with Sherod Lawhorn.2
