     Missouri Maude Wheeler, daughter of William McHenry Wheeler and Martha Leana Lantz, was born about 1877 in Bedford County, Virginia.1 Missouri Maude Wheeler was the daughter of William McHenry Wheeler and Martha Leana Lantz. Conflicting evidence states that Missouri was born in July 1878.2 Conflicting evidence states that Missouri was born on 21 June 1879.3 Missouri Maude Wheeler was commonly known as Zubie. She married Lewis W. Quarles, son of Abram Quarles and Sarah (Franklin) Quarles, on 25 June 1899 in Bedford County, Virginia..4

Missouri Maude Quarles married her second cousin once removed, Walter Henry Lawhorn, son of James Henry Lawhorn and Sophia Catherine Gray, on 25 August 1932 in Bedford County, Virginia..4 Missouri Maude Lawhorn died on 27 February 1958 in Bedford County, Virginia.3
