     Mabel I. West was born 4 December 1891 in Todd County, Kentucky.1,2 She married Charles F. Lawhorn, son of William Alfred Lawhorn and Maona Anderson, about 1916..3,1 The census of 1 January 1920 enumerated on 2 January 1920 in Casey County, Kentucky, listed Mabel "Lawhorn", as the 28-year-old wife of Charles F. Lawhorn.4 The census of 1 April 1930 enumerated on 17 April 1930 in District 2, Casey County, Kentucky, listed Mabel I. "Lawhorn", a public school teacher, born in Kentucky, who had been married first at the age of 21, as the 38-year-old daughter-in-law of William A. Lawhorn.5 Mabel Lawhorn died on 28 August 1945 in Casey County, Kentucky.2 She was buried in the Middleburg Cemetery, Middleburg, Casey County, Kentucky.2
