The census of 1 June 1900 enumerated on 2 July 1900 in the Stone Wall District, Appomattox County, Virginia, listed Allen "Laughon", born in VA, as the 7-year-old step son of Saml Hubard.1 The census of 15 April 1910 enumerated on 21 April 1910 in the Highland Ward, Roanoke (an Independent City), Virginia, listed Allen Laughon, a shop machinest, born in Virginia, as the 17-year-old step son of John P. Hubbard.3 Allen Laughon married Emma Annetta Cooper, daughter of James Cooper and Pattie (__?__) Cooper, about 1925..4,5
